Tony Farrar, CLU, CHFC

Anthony Farrar became an Investment Adviser Representative with Equity Services, Inc., and a Financial Representative with Apogee Financial Partners. He has over 35 years of experience in financial services, including wealth strategies, financial planning, and advisement.  

Tony has served as the Accounting Manager for the Atlanta-based restaurant, Houston’s, and as a senior auditor for Price Waterhouse, providing services for clients such as Anheuser Busch, Ralston Purina, and Farm Credit Banks. He also worked as a Senior Agent at Prudential Insurance, where he developed and implemented financial plans for individuals, businesses, and organizations while maintaining a long-term client base.

Tony is the Founder and President of Farrar Financial Group. He has played a crucial role in increasing sales by over $4 million and extending his client base to more than 5,000, in a competitive market. He possesses expertise in a range of products including Life and Health insurance, Variable Life and Annuities, Property and Casualty insurance, 401K plans, Long Term Care insurance, Short and Long-Term Disability insurance, as well as Business and Employee Benefits. In addition, Farrar Financial Group offers clients tax strategies, retirement planning strategies, entrepreneurial leadership training, and organizational development services.

Tony Farrar earned his BS Accounting with a concentration in Finance from Hampton University in Hampton, VA. He also obtained his Chartered Financial Consultant and Certified Life Underwriter from The American College.

Tony is a dedicated husband and father to his 5 sons. He is actively encouraging his youngest son at home, with his interests in football, track and field. A sports enthusiast, Tony enjoys playing golf and supports the Washington Commanders. Additionally, he sits on the board of directors AJF Scholarships and he contributes his time to various community initiatives and is an active member of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity.
