Thomese Scales Baranco has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry, with National Life Group representing one of the earliest chapters of her career. While she has built a strong background in administration and consulting, including more than 15 years in managerial roles with Fortune 500 insurance companies, Ms. Scales Baranco remains, above all, a servant leader. Having experienced the loss of her mother to a terminal illness and walked alongside her father—who first introduced her to the industry—through his Alzheimer’s diagnosis, Ms. Scales Baranco focuses on estate and legacy strategies for individuals and families. In addition, she specializes in strategies for closely held businesses, working collaboratively with experienced, trusted professionals to help clients create a well-rounded, holistic strategy.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Ms. Scales Baranco is known for her southern hospitality, outgoing personality, and genuine, humble spirit. She is also passionate about mentoring young women in the insurance industry and beyond. Ms. Scales Baranco views her profession as a ministry and is deeply committed to educating individuals and businesses—small and large—on financial wellness and financial literacy.
